Overview
EnsembleVault helps theatre and music programs track costumes, props, music, and related inventory in one place. This site is the end-user manual: tasks your staff and admins perform in the app, written in plain language.
Who this manual is for
- Teachers and staff who check items in and out, run productions, and browse shared resources.
- Site administrators who manage users, settings, and organization-wide options.
It is not an internal database or API reference. For developers, see the project repository and technical docs in the main codebase.
How the manual is organized
| Section | Use it when… |
|---|---|
| Getting started | You are new or setting up access. |
| Everyday use | You work in the dashboard day to day. |
| Administration | You manage people, permissions, or settings. |
| Troubleshooting | Something failed or looks wrong. |
| Reference | You need a concise definition of roles or terms. |
| Release notes | You want to see what changed recently. |
Conventions in this manual
- Steps are numbered when order matters.
- Expected result tells you what you should see if things worked.
- Common problems lists frequent mistakes or limits—read them before opening a support ticket.
- Screenshot markers mean a visual would help; capture or request one when you update the page.
